ETHOS X Microwave Extraction System

The ETHOS X offers a new approach to gravimetric fat determination applicable to any food and feed matrix with 45 samples/day at lowest cost per sample. It applies the well-known selectivity of microwave heating and the advantages of closed vessel technology to fat determination.

Same ETHOS X hardware configuration that one uses for Total FAT analysis can be used for the FAMEs analysis too whereby increasing the lab productivity at no extra instrument cost.

MSD JetClean Self-cleaning and High-efficiency ion source

The JetClean self-cleaning ion source eliminates matrix deposits inevitably built up during routine analysis, thereby no need to remove the ion source, scrub the lens then put it all back together and recalibrate the instrument. High-efficiency ion source incorporates a novel design to increase ionization efficiency and maximizes the ions transferred into the quadrupole analyzer, significantly improving analytical performance.
