We are looking for an Individual Contributor role who will help develop the Field Engineers with the necessary Technologies which will help cater the current requirement as well as expand GBA’s portfolio. We have to focus on the Efficiency and Utilization of the service delivery team going forward. You will play a key role in transforming the service delivery organization via a structured approach by building a Competency Development Plan.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create Technical Development Plan for all the Field Engineers

The Function | Accountabilities

We are looking for the Category Manager for Analytical Consumables to ensure we continue to maintain a robust and expanding portfolio into the mentioned category. The function is central to managing the business key parameter such as revenues, margin, procurement strategy, portfolio expansion and sales channel definition. Here some more details on the areas of accountabilities:

  • Grow the business by adding Products to the Portfolio for After Market business in driving a consistent funnel approach for the relevant portfolio.
  • Preparing Business Plan and Funnel management with suppliers for focus on consistent business growth
  • Drive accounted category sales growth effectively by developing and implementing a product category plan along with field/marketing/sales & support and delivering the numbers to the principal and from the field.
  • Ensure there is an effective engagement at multiple levels and alignment with principals for payment terms, forecast, key processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Inventory management to handle supply chain relationships by ordering the right inventory at the right time, & the right quantities. Place orders quicker. Minimize stock outs. Reduce excess stock. Forecast with ease. Logistic cost reduction.
  • Develop and maintain a best-in-region vendor portfolio –This is a crucial area where senior management attention is constantly required.
  • Deliver clarity and focus to the sales organization in possibly every engagement – Category Manager must excel in delivering clarity with programs and direct engagement with sales management and teams in each interaction.
  • Master the pricing process - Controlling the pricing process effectively is a key role of the category manager.

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer that will adapt to the Service Delivery function set here in GBA. We cannot stress enough the importance of this function for our customers, so we are looking forward to a seasoned Service professional who can make a lasting positive impact in the following areas:

  • To perform the activities with maximum Efficiency to meet predefined targets.
  • Maximize the Number of jobs attended per Day and utilize the maximum working hours while maintaining customer loyalty.
  • Ensure that maximum leads are generated through the cross-selling program and timely communication of promo offers.
  • To engage with the customers and have good communication & customer handling skills to meet customer satisfaction scores.
  • To develop competencies for new instrument portfolios by self-learning and initiative or training.
  • Taking ownership and showing flexibility to the organizational needs 

The Profile | Skills and Attitude

We are looking for a Service professional who is willing to develop his/her career in the fast-growing Service business and expect to have minimum of the below:

  • Experience in the relevant field job up to 5 Years
  • Experience in handling Installations of Spectroscopy products like UV-VIS, FT-IR, ICP, ICP-MS, etc. Preferred OEMs – Perkin, Agilent, Shimadzu
  • Experience in handling Breakdowns of above products
  • Basic knowledge on Accessories and Applications
  • Problem Solving skills
  • Good in Internal and External Communication
  • UAE Drivers’ license would be preferred but is not compulsory
  • Genuine Passion for Customer Satisfaction
