Saudi Aramco Al-Fadhili Gas Plant Sulfur Recovery, KSA
Petrofac was awarded a contract by Saudi Aramco to undertake the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a sulphur recovery plant as part of their Fadhili gas programme. The Fadhili gas plant is a grassroots gas processing facility with a total capacity of 2,500 MMSCFD. It processes:
- 2,000 MMSCFD of non-associated gas from the Hasbah offshore field
- 500 MMSCFD of non-associated gas from the Khursaniyah onshore fields
The plant consists of five gas processing trains – four of these trains will process Hasbah offshore gas and one train will process Khursaniyah onshore gas.
Our scope consisted in the Laboratory design to accommodate all required laboratory instruments (including furniture and all utilities), supply and full commissioning. Laboratory area is 110 square meters and hosts 30 laboratory analyzers.
