Viscosity

Tamson range of products is ideal for determining the kinematic viscosity of a sample. The kinematic viscosity of a fluid is determined by measuring the flow time for a fluid to flow through a calibrated viscometer at a known temperature.

Tamson designed a bath with rack to preheat the 8" centrifuge cones confirm the test methods. The Tamson ASTM D1796 bath is an important addition for each lab that wants to work conform ASTM D1796, ASTM D4007, ASTM D2273, ASTM D96 or ASTM D91.

Foaming Dual Bath

Tamson is manufacturing an ASTM D892 foaming dual bath. The ASTM D892 test method covers the foaming characteristics of lubricating oils. Tamson supplies a dual bath setup where one bath can be operated at +24 degree celcius and one bath will be operated at +93.5 degree celcius.

Density

Tamson ASTM D1298 has a solution for hydrometer to determine the density of the sample at a known temperature. When determining the density of bitumen, pycnometers are used. For this test method the Tamson ASTM D70 setup can be used. The Tamson ASTM D1480 setup can be used for the density and relative density of viscous materials.

Corrosion

Tamson has equipment for copper corrosion, silver corrosion, copper corrosion of LPG, corrosion of engine coolants in glassware and copper corrosion from aromatic hydrocarbons.
