Sample Extraction Steps

  • Collect and acidify your samples at PH2, put the sample in Ultrasonic and heated to 40 °C for 20 minutes. then collect 10 ml sample by syringe.
  • Connect syringe to clearshot extractor, the extractor will trap oil and grease inside its membrane and release water.
  • Introduce the extractor with oil sample to FTIR card holder and measure by FTIR.
  • Open TOG quant method in Microlab software and measure your sample at 2920 Cm-1.
