17 Mycotoxins in One Go

Mycotoxins are toxins produced by certain fungi which grows on food items like Cereals, Dried fruits, Nuts, Spices etc.; stored in warm and humid conditions. These toxins are also found on feed thus it poses a serious health threat to both humans and livestock. Although multiple Mycotoxins have been identified, routinely around 12 Mycotoxins are regulated. Liquid chromatography Mass spectrometer is the popular instrument of choice owing to its better selectivity and sensitivity. Sample clean-up is a crucial part of the entire workflow as it enhances sensitivity with less matrix interference.

The CrossTOX is a QuEChERS column which has a simplified one step procedure for clean-up after extraction in solvent.

Benefits

  • One column for wide range of matrices.
  • Less dependency on internal standards owing to simplified workflow and excellent recovery.
  • Less cleaning and maintenance of Mass spectrometer due to the high purity of the extracts.
  • As the sample is passed through the column no separate filtration is required.
